Palette Program

Vandergrift paletteThe Vandergrift Fine Arts Festival again would like to invite you to participate in our Palette Art Display on the streets of Vandergrift. For those of you that have participated in the past thank you for beautifying our town with your talents. We are excited about what 2010 will bring to Vandergrift and look forward to your participation.

We are continuing with the palette shape in 2010. The palettes will be displayed from May 30th through the end of October. The painting should be done on one side only. The space available will be approximately 3 1/3 X 4 1/2. A plaque will be mounted on each palette with the name of the artist and sponsor.

Please make note that we will need to know when you drop off your painting whether you want to sponsor your work. You may sponsor your own palette or solicit your own sponsor. If you do not have a sponsor indicated on this application we will first make the palette available to a sponsor of our choice. If the sponsor does not want to keep the palette it will be available for sale to the public to help raise more funds for future art festivals. The sponsor fee is $125

Applications are due by April 30th but are on a first come first serve basis. We have approximately 40 palettes so please apply as soon as possible. After we receive your application we will make arrangements for pickup of a wooden palette cut-out for your painting.
